We've all heard tales of mermaids and recently they were proven true! While on a "recreational" cruise off the coat of Portugal the crew heard the most mournful yet beautiful song ever. Following the sound they came upon a lovely mermaid caught in a fisherman's net. Barely alive the crew brought Bella aboard the Portobello Rose and nursed her back to health.

As is her custom Bella now owes her life to Captain Wycked Jack and accompanies them on their journeys. Her talents at predicting the weather and speaking to sea creatures (she is a fish!) make her an invaluable asset to the crew. On nights of the full moon she can be heard singing a haunting song for her home beneath the waves from the bowsprit.

When not changing from a fish to a woman Rosie Holm Blum is a wonderful soprano and attends college to for a degree in music, focusing on voice. After completing her degree, Rosie plans to continue to Seminary college to become a pastor. Currently, Rosie is caring for her new baby boy and working on being a wife out of water!
