Where Can I See the Pyrates of Portobello?

July - August 2010:

The Pyrates of Portobello will be performing music and entertainment at the Duluth Tall Ships Event in Duluth, MN from July 30 - August 1. Come out and play with us and tour the amazing ships!

PoP will be performing weekends at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival (MRF) from August 21 through through October 3, 2010 (including Labor Day). We will perform on stages and the street so the best way to know where we'll be for a particular weekend is to email us for up to the minute information!

Also look for us at the front gate in the mornings, Irish Cottage throughout the day and performing street in front of Mayfaire Art, Outta' Torch and Elandah Leather. We'll also be performing in the parade and at the closing gate extravaganza daily.

October - December 2010:

PoP will be taking some time off after the long festival run at MRF and does not currently have any appearances scheduled for this period of time. We will be in the studio working on our new CD.

PoP Trivia:

PoP was founded at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in 2002 with Captain Wycked Jack Bastyrd - a pirate with a vision and the only member.

After recruiting First Mate Obediah Jib and later other crew members, PoP went through a name change and remains the Pyrates of Portobello to this day!

PoP has performed at the Siouxland Renaissance Festival since its inception in June of 2002 and has performed their Drum Jam each year as well. To our knowledge this is the only fest that has a Limbo dance at the Drum Jam!
